Stephanie Mara is a Somatic Nutritional Counselor and Mentor and the creator of Somatic Eating®.
Currently pursuing her Phd, Stephanie is also developing a Somatic Eating® curriculum to teach other therapists and helping professionals her Somatic Eating® method. In prep for the release of the course, together we will rebrand Somatic Eating.com, staying within the current color universe of Stephaniemara.com and laying a strong foundation for the future of the Somatic Eating Institute.

Move to WordPress
In order for me to have the most design control, I recommend moving the Somatic Eating website to WordPress.
This means the site will be self-hosted (instead of hosted through Squarespace). Self-hosted means YOU own all of your own content, and no one can take it away from you! It also means more control over design and functionality for us moving forward. We will leave StephanieMara.com on Squarespace.
If you’d like to work together but would rather stick with Squarespace, that can happen too. But it might limit what we can do creatively, and it’s not setup as well for SEO.
WHAT THIS ENTAILS: (I’ll do all this work for you!)
- Move to Flywheel for hosting – around $15/mo.
- Set Up SSL certificate (this keeps your site secure!), which is FREE with Flywheel.
- Your domain will stay at GoDaddy.
- You’ll need to work with me for monthly updates (see Housekeeping below) or make a plan yourself ($50/mo and the first 6 months after we launch are free!)

Housekeeping
Housekeeping: $50/mo (optional but highly recommended)
All WordPress sites need to be monitored and updated regularly. Some people don’t mind managing this themselves, and others just simply don’t remember or don’t want to. A site that is not updated can be hacked more easily than an updated one, so updates ARE important! But, on top of the time, sometimes when updates are made, it can break parts of the site.
This is where I offer a service called Housekeeping! Once a month I login and update all plugins and WordPress, clean up spam and the database, and fix anything that’s not working. During the month, I keep an eye on spam and hacking updates and make any adjustments that are needed to keep your site safe. It also means I’m the person you contact if your site goes down for any reason, and I’ll work with your tech stack to get it back up and running.

CONTRACT DETAILS
The above pricing is effective through a start date of August 2025.
If a contract is not signed by that time, and you would still like to work with me, another proposal will be drawn up at current rates.
Accepted payment forms include personal checks via mail or all major credit cards through Freshbooks or Paypal. Payment plans are available.
